Often referred to as the "Miami of Morocco," Agadir is unlike any other city in the country. Almost totally rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1961, this once-quiet fishing port has developed into the country's major resort town. It features magnificent sandy beaches, over 300 days of sunshine a year, sophisticated hotels and dining, and a lively nightlife.
